ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
where humans put their "faith" is very interesting. some place it firmly with organized religion with all the protocols to obtain righteousness. some place it firmly in the cosmos and the order of random collisions. some place it firmly between the shapely thighs of god's greatest creation... woman! so rock on with your evolved state!

here's what's on the discus, produced by steven cooper...

"darwin's rosary"... maybe the entire theory of evolution needs to evolve... some more!

"viva la cerveza"... there's a point in life where nothing else will comfort but cerveza.

"slide in slide out"... yeah, it's a motion thing, that wild thing you and your lady get on with.

"i could love you better"... you watch her come in and flirt with other guys, only to see her frustrated time and again because they're just not right for her, but you are... so go get her!

"moolah be praised"... let's just cut the crap and start worshipping the true god of mammon!

"for my sanity"... giving up the poison of social pressures that are killing you inside for tranquility and peace of mind can be a good thing.

"over my head"... some folks are comfortable where they are, regardless of love's calling.

"the ipod, xbox, cellphone, laptop blues"... is technology curing or causing the blues?

"shoot for the stars"... gazing up at night, you can't help but think other eyes are doing the same thing... across the galaxy.

"the come song"... come let us request some objective help from those who know.

"meaner than evil"... turning the other cheek only works twice... then it's time to kick ass.

the chevy ford band is still:
bubba hudson - vocals & guitar
jeff jordan - lead guitar
steven cooper - keys/drums
richard murrey - bass
special guest: john heinrich - saxophone

Another and even better release from Chevy Ford!
The Ipod, Xbox, Cellphone, Laptop Blues has to be one of our recent favorite originals, that's right ALL your songs are originals! How is Hollywood, or Nashville, or Austin missing these??? We don't know! Over My Head has been stuck in my head for weeks now and it's such an incredible song. Shoot For The Stars, The Come Song, Meaner Than Evil (which would be perfect for Gene Simmons' son) Viva La Cerveza and the title song Darwin's Rosary are all about promoting thought and encouraging people to come out of their dumbing down to find some real intelligence in these songs. I keep hoping to see you guys on Oprah, or Jay Leno, or Letterman, etc. Wow, tough stuff! Rock'in on.

Your breadth and depth never ceases to amaze me!
Such songs as Come Song, Ipod, Xbox, Cellphone, Laptop Blues, For My Sanity, Moolah Be Praised, Slide In Slide Out, so many potential original song hits and you guys haven't even been on the AMAs or CMAs etc! OMG when Hollywood finds you - they'll be saying "overnight hits" and I'm sure you've been putting in the years as it really shows in the thought and complexity heard on this album. I LOVE IT! Larry

Moolah especially relevant now with the bailouts!
Good night are ya'll psychic or something??? With all these bailouts Moolah Be Praised is outstanding crazy timely! This song should be played on all news shows having to do with the bailouts 'cause it would be a rockin blues backing track for those segments. And the Come Song is so happening! Ipod, Xbox also triple rockin and I play it way up high in my car - Rock on dudes!

Moolah Be Praised is so relevent!
What with all of the greed and corruption in today's American socialist corporate world this one song should be on everyone's play list. Outstanding, and bravo!
And the Come Song and Meaner than Evil are killer too!
