Album Notes
In 2001, Chris and his Canadian wife quit the rat race in London, England, and took some time out to travel the world. One year later, Chris landed in Canada and settled in Vancouver, British Columbia, where he decided to abandon his career in sales and marketing to become qualified as an elementary school teacher. As Chris immersed himself in Canadian and British Columbian history and culture, he was inspired back to songwriting, something he'd been doing on and off since age 15.

In 2004, Chris took a course in using multitrack recording software and used his new-found skills to record some new songs along with a few he'd written back in England. The resulting CD, which focuses primarily on Chris' wonderful ability as a singer, songwriter, and guitarist, was initially reproduced at home and only ever circulated among friends and family and at early live shows. Now, almost a decade later and with a growing reputation as one of the best singer-songwriters in British Columbia, Chris has given this timeless gem the treatment it deserves by getting it professionally mastered and repackaged and releasing it to the world.

Here are some things musicians and music lovers have said about this album:

"I could drive across Canada listening to you."
"I've played your CD to death."
"I hear shades of Burton Cummings and a young James Taylor."
"It's stunning and has been on in my car for the last three weeks."
"Perfect for Sunday mornings reading the newspaper."
"To be honest, we've listened to nothing else for the past few weeks."
"It's doin' all the right stuff, baby!"
