ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This recording began as a challenge from George Hodgkiss, the intrepid engineer who recorded the project. He wanted to see if I could pull off recording Barber's "Adagio for Strings" as a one-man ensemble. I made it through that piece...and then it became the genesis for my second project. It took several years as I went off to grad school and life made other plans for me aside from finishing this project. But things came to a head, and I needed to move forward. This recording, which took six years of my life, is truly a solo project in the fullest sense. This album is "proof" of my hard work and dedication to my study of all musical genres, but in particular the classical genre. I hope you love the music here as much as I enjoyed making it.
