Singer/songwriter Cindy Doire, presents us an interpretation of inspiring French folk/jazz music through her debut album; La Vie en Bleu. This recently released album unleashes a French melody that travels from a north-American sound to the Parisian cafés and cabarets. Through her love and study of modern languages, Cindy has learned to express herself in three of the major languages of the Americas; French, English and Spanish. With her linguistic knowledge intact and proficient, she has taken her music to the streets and clubs around the world performing to crowds with her universal aptitude as a songwriter.
While transcending a stubbornness for describing relentless beauty and sorrow, Cindy Doire inadvertently displays her appreciation of her musical predecessors that have come before her. On stage, Cindy reveals charm and vulnerability combined with confidence and strength. English and French artists alike have all had a profound affect on her music.
With the support of the Ontario Arts Council, Cindy has assembled a full length album entitled La Vie en Bleu. Recorded in Toronto, Ontario with an abundance of musical talent taking part, her inspirations and elegantly portrayed realizations were solidified in her astonishing debut CD. Cindy Doire's La vie en Bleu engulfs and endures a sound that crosses borders while making melodies out of trumpets and folklore.
As you can appreciate when you enter La Vie en Bleu; a parallel world enticed by the richness of her northern roots, Cindy Doire embraces her music and strives to express her vision. She is now prepared to present her debut CD through a series of concerts and festivals. From northern Ontario to Quebec and France, there are no boundaries to her ambition .
