ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Whimsical Weather is the 3rd Cirrus Bay cd, and is a bit more lush, layered and complex than previous cds. I love the feeling of some of the music of Tony Banks, evoked by his sense of melody and chord progressions, and that love and influence finds its way into the music of Cirrus Bay, but hopefully not too much. The feel of the outdoors is notable in the music, helped by the layered mix of acoustic and electric guitars, mellotron, organ, synths, and occasional mandolin. Effort has been made to add enough detail into these long songs, so that the album could hopefully be a grower.
