ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Claudia Pellegrini created, performed and recorded all of the tracks in the album "Landing In Peace" as a donation to "The Flight, Inc", a non-profit, premier niche organization providing holistic alternatives.
In 2009, Claudia Pellegrini first learned about "The Flight, Inc", becoming very interested in the concept of healing through the power of music. After connecting with Kathleen Sagan (Founder and Director of "The Flight, Inc"), Claudia set out to create an entire musical album inspired by the values of "The Flight, Inc", donating her musical skills to the project. The album would be taken to Hospitals, Health Clinics, and generally made available to infirmed people searching for the comfort of music.

Claudia Pellegrini, about whom "THE PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER" wrote "her musical work is mesmerizing", was born and raised in Madrid , ( Spain ). She began her violin studies at age 5, was an Honor Conservatory Graduate by 17, a Master's Graduate by 23 ( Temple ), a Songwriting Competition Finalist by 24 (VH1 2003), and a published producer-songwriter-singer by 26.
As a violinist she’s worked with the some of the greatest (P.Zukerman, Y.Menuhin, Michael Tilson Thomas), and she performs with several orchestras in the Philadelphia area. In 2003 she received the Albert Tashjian Award for Excellence in Violin Performance.
As a music producer, Claudia worked at Bradford Sound Studios (2005-07) where co-wrote/arranged Gershon Bradley’s CD debut “Journey”, (available on Amazon, FYE, iTunes).
Claudia recently created "Pellegrini Productions" through which she creates music in different genres, scores short films and plays, and collaborates with other artists. She is currently recording her own Pop album with original material in English and Spanish.  Also available now is her Christmas Single with vocalist Anthony D'Amato.
As a songwriter, Claudia has an extensive catalog of more than 75 works in different genres. Her song "Broken Down" was awarded a "Mention of Honor" by VH1's "Song Of The Year" Competition.
Claudia Pellegrini is actively involved in musical theater, having recently appeared in the world premiere of "What You Will" at Bristol Riverside Theatre (PA), where she worked alongside renowned composer Justin Ellington.
