ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
With an album recorded with the simplicity of the records from yester-year, all original songs, and a roller coaster of tracks that will have you laughing and crying the entire way, Clay Edwards has brought something back to country music that has been missing for quite some time. Just as the title describes, this album was recorded at Clay's kitchen table with an acoustic guitar and a harmonica as his choice of instrumentation. The songs are raw and un-edited, which isn't so hard to believe once you understand that Clay's musical influences range from Jimmie Rodgers to Robert Johnson, and from his own grandfather (who could be heard playing his guitar from a bedroom in the back of his house when Clay was a child). This collection of songs is country music at its finest, so pull up a chair and have a listen.
