ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Hey...
My music is sort of taking rap back to the old school days, the days of N.W.A, 2pac, Cipres Hill, ext. Its got a mix of different instruments and sounds, so none of my songs sound alike. The majority of the songs on "The Start" were recorded at AVEX Honolulu Studios, the biggest recording studio in the state of Hawaii. Most of my inspiration came from rappers such as EMINEM, Tinie Tempah (british) and T.I.. Eminem taught me that anything is possable, and make music for the love of making music, color does not matter, and you can do it if you try hard enough; this has propelled my lyrical expression forward greatly. Tinie Tempah has always had a dream of filling someones shoes, he is there now, making music, this has also inspired me, in which i touch on subjects like not having a deal, but not slowing down, but the dream is still there. And T.I. mainly because his first album was laughed at, and that drove him to show every one that he is good.
Now to get back to the old school part of my music...
There is zero use of swear words within the lyrics of C. NaD. Although I do listen to explicit music my self, I wish for my music, my fans, or listeners to enjoy it, not having to deal with constant cut outs of lyrics due to swear words, and also for the younger listeners, or just people who do not like songs with profanity in it. I wished for C. NaD to be straight up, and be able to tell a story with out the bad launge of other rappers, which really does set my music apart from others; the album still contains some harder core songs, they are just clean, but still to the point and in you face.
The instrument variety is also important to me. I tend to use full drum beats, nice flowing synths and strings, and sometimes odd sounding noises, and neat sounding guitars.
All in which helps diversify my music, almost into a genre of its own.

The album was inspired by many instances, stories from a friend who had cancer, resulted in the creation of the song "Change".
Being able to do what every you would like, through all of the adversity in life, resulted in the creation of the song "This Wonderful World".
The fact that no one can take any thing away from you, resulted in the creation of the song "No One Can".
A nice introduction to the artist named C. NaD (myself) resulted in the creation of the songs, "Just Being Me" and "Hello Everybody". "Just Being Me" has been a hit with every single person the song has come into contact to, and seems to be a better pump up song, and portrays a clearer picture of me, as an artist.
A song in the subcategory of "Just Being Me" and "Hello Everybody" would be the song "My Life", a song that kind of is "like a slowed down pace of my life" (My Life - C. NaD).
It is known that it takes a while to figure out who you are as a person, so I realized this myself, which resulted in the creation of the song "Who You Are"
The songs "Strange Noises" and "Got To" are kind of just the normal C. NaD, random and weird, although "Got To" seems to be more of an in your face kind of song.
