Album Notes
Welcome aboard the second release by the Coconut Boat Band, “Too Much Hands On My Time”! Following the of the success of their initial release “Rum Is A Many Blendered Thing” , the CBB offers 12 new tunes that again beckon your flip flops and favorite rum recipes. Stamp your passport with ”Hey Mon Hola Mon”, “ This Old Hammock” , “Been to Barbados” and “Cowboys on the Beach” and your passage is booked! All aboard!

Scott and Chuck Kirkpatrick are back tugging at their roots in the tradition of Beach Boys harmonies and tropical rock rhythms while Scott Ellis provides the prototypical Buffett sensibilities in his ever poetic story laden lyrics. While time marches on from the days when Scott and Chuck toured with Firefall and members of the Byrds as well as recording with Clapton, the Bee Gees, America and others, they still manage to find the time to play and record with blues great, Coco Montoya and tour on their own. So grab a rum drink, jump in the hammock, pop in the iPod and sail away with the Coconut Boat Band.

Some comments left on our website about Rum Is A Many Blendered Thing: “ I play this cd on all my yachts!”, “It doesn’t get much better than this, now excuse me while I get back to my blender,” “I still play it every day start to finish," and “ a little Buffett, a dash of the Beach Boys and dose of the group America”.
