Concrete Blonde covers a song written by UK songwriter/recording artist Paul SImpson aka Horizontal Paul. Simpson's alias is a wry
comment on his physical condition: he's a paraplegic with a degenerative spine disease and has been bedridden since an accident in the 80's.
Concrete Blonde lead singer/bassist Johnette Napolitano read about Horizontal Paul's project 'Moby', a studio on wheels for immobile
artists, and was impressed enough to order a CD. "I loved his songs. They were frail and beautiful, and I always loved this one."
