ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Recorded at The Powow Fun Room with the multi-talented Pete Curry of Los Straitjackets. Inspired by The Ventures, Vic Flick (The John Barry 7), Link Wray, Los Straitjackets and Joe Meek. The Concussions incorporate the Clavioline (Telstar) and the Farfisa on selected tracks. Vintage guitars and amps galore were used in the making of this record.

Buy This CD - You Won't Regret It
This CD is brilliant from start to finish. The Concussion take the listener for a sonic ride. This isn't your father's surf music either. They do have a classic sound, (do to vintage equipment)but this isn't typical reverb drenched surf. They venture down many different avenues. This CD has everything from hellbilly twang, movie sountracks, toe-tapping pop hooks and more. Best of all, when I listen to this CD it puts a smile on my face.
