ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Cones of Uncertainty are a quartet from Lafayette Louisiana that bring together sounds and textures of traditional rock with a mixture of jazz, punk and psychedelia. Their music lyrically and sonically transports you from outer space to the streets of New Orleans in an absinthe induced haze. The band’s name is derived from the projected path of hurricanes that often brings uncertain levels of destruction and fear to the Southern Louisiana city they call home. The band formed in 2010 and consists of Leah Graeff, bass and vocals, Mikey Chouest, keyboards, saxophone, and accordion, Jimmy Tancill, guitar and vocals, and John Gargano, drums and vocals.
