ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Conjunto Bossagora vocal group was born in 2001, Rome, Italy. The leader is Luisa Bruno, Lyrical Soprano graduated at Rome's Santa Cecilia Musical Conservatory. The mission is to propose Bossa Nova, Samba, as well as Popular Brazilian Music (MPB), under a new light.
All the vocal arrangements have been written personally by Luisa Bruno.
Luisa has been singing Brazilian Music for more than 30 years and refined her passion by making several journeys to Rio, performing with famous artists living in this "Cidade Maravilhosa" (Amazing Town).
The Conjunto Bossagora has been performing Brazilian style for many years for a selected public of connoisseurs. This CD, "VIDA", is the very first issue of this Group, where solo vocal is featured along with choral performances.Recorded in Rome,Italy and in Rio de Janeiro,Brazil.
The Cd features a ghost track: the video clip of "Joaozinho Boa Pinta" (Quick Time required)!
Don't forget: 2008 is the 50th anniversary of Bossa Nova!!!
