tom lazaros has written #1 songs for roy clark “somewhere between love and tomorrow”, ray price “ that’s what leaving’s about” , and a million seller for gallery “big city miss ruth ann”. he also wrote hits for john anderson “countrified”, bill anderson “thank you darling”, george jones “come home to me”, teresa brewer “deep is my love”, dobie gray “a house divided by two”, stephen monahan “city of windows”, as well as songs for diahann carroll, don ho, johnny carver, charnissa, primo people, latin counts, chicago pete, frank parker, costa & chyps, and others.
costa lazaros has been working as a singer in studios and clubs in detroit and nashville for a number of years. he sang harmony for del shannon, stephen monahan, and others. he was one of the original members of gallery, and was the lead and harmony singer and guitar player on the regional hit “detroit city cats” by costa & chyps.
the two brothers went to nashville to produce costa’s first cd of all original christmas songs. tom wrote 9 of the 10 songs, one which was co-written with costa, and paul henry. the tenth song was wrtten by costa’s friend norman serenberg, who has passed on. costa promised he would record it, and he has. the songs on the cd are all new, all original, and all good.
