ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This 1990 collection is a tribute to the woman who was so central in sparking the movement called "women's music" which speaks from the perspective of strong, independent women to women about women's experience. Here they assembled favorites from 1975's Changer and the Changed, from 1980's Strange Paradise, from 1981's Carnegie Hall album, from 1982's Blue Rider, from 1985's Prairie Fire and Snow Angel, from 1987's Wolf Moon, from 1989's Country Blessed. What a couple of decades! Revisit and remember!
