Album Notes
Crizzy & The Punx "13" VOTED 2003 ORLANDO PUNK & SKA AWARDS "CD OF THE YEAR", Dirt Hooligan VOTED 2003 PUNK & SKA AWARDS "BASSIST OF THE YEAR". Formed in May 1996, Crizzy & The Punx are a 3 piece rock/punk/reggae band based in Tampa Bay, Florida. Crizzy (vox, guitar), Mark Empire (backing vox, drums), & Dirt Hooligan (backing vox, bass). Soon after recording our second full length CD, we lost our friend, brother and very important member of the CatP family. Bassist Dirt Hooligan was killed in an accident outside a nightclub on July 3, 2003. Dirt brought inspiration and passion to the music and live shows. He was excited as we just finished recording the CD and were planning its release. His enthusiasm for life, his music and friends was infectious and we will miss him greatly. This CD is titled "13" in his honor, as it was the date of his birth and tattooed "jersey-size" on his back.
Our 15 track CD "13" was officially released on October 24, 2003 and represents our diversity and range of style, and uniqueness. Straight ahead rock with heavy punk, reggae, ska and even a little country influences give everyone something to enjoy on this CD.

Punk Rock Fun!
Kick ass follow up to their 1st cd-Tight. 13 is a lot of fun-punk,ska,rock,reggae at its finest! And they are awesome to see live! I love this shit!

A long time fan

Kicks A##!
It was 1998 when I first saw and heard Crizzy and the Punx, bought there first disc "Tight" and a t shirt at a show in Melbourne and have been patiently waiting for the follow up. All I can say is that it was worth the wait. Punk all the way!

This CD really owns, buy it now! or else....
This CD PWNS all level 67 paladins...ok...but seriously some songs on here make you wanna go fight, but then the next song makes you wanna chill and light up...they killed it with this one.

Kicks Rancid's Arse
Sounds like Rancid but only better. If you like Rancid style punk (real punk) then pick up this cd now. Life won't wait, so you shouldn't either.

Great Cd- Crizzy Rocks
this is the way punk was meant to sound like. Catchy riffs, made for drunken sing alongs

A Truly Rockin' Album
I am highly impressed!!
Hopefully other bands will take note, because this is
punk the way it's meant to be.
A truly rockin' album

Hell, it just rocks.
It starts out with a good old-fashion punk rave-up and ends with a slammer. Inbetween, it visits ska and reggae territory with side trips to country and gospel-inspired vocals. And the lyrics can be pretty funny too: "Got ten good years then I'm going country/I'll never sell out unless they show me the money." It's just a good time from one end to the other.
