ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Crooked Coast was written and recorded over the winter of 2011 at Kid Charlemagne Studios with producer/multi instrumentalist John MacNamara at the helm. Singer/guitarist Luke Vose, bassist Ben Elder and drummer Charles Parker Walton distilled their freewheeling style into a tight eight song album. Songs about love, death, redemption and hope in a small town where shaped into a party with pounding rhythms, heartbreaking melodies and honest, breezy lyrics. The sounds are inspired by great rock, reggae, punk, soul, country and hip hop. The band dug into these genres and found the common spark in all of them. The result is a simple, beautiful, distinctly American album full of songs listeners will be singing long after the first listen.
