CUSTARD are active since 1987 but have never really made it out of the underground. They have made four studio-albums between 1999 and 2008 and their fifth album now is the first one released by Pure Steel Records.
Their older material was influenced by European power metal à la HELLOWEEN and GAMMA RAY, but now they’re trying a different style. Now their sound is more like US-metal, with high-pitch-screams, which might remind you a bit of the god of metal himself, Rob Halford. The vocals are accompanied by harmonic twin-guitars of the MAIDEN-school and a thundering double-bass. The production is very powerful which perfectly underlines the musical passion of this quintet. Their new guitarist, Anna Olejniczak, is the first female band-member of CUSTARD.
This new album is a dangerous heavy-metal-attack from Germany: watch out and beware!
