Pearl

by Cynthia Jordan

Boogies, Blues mixed with a Burlesque flair, soft jazz and even a taste of country best describes the music on the Pearl CD. The songs were written for the stage production, "PEARL", a story about sexy women, cowboys and oil discovery in the 1920s. FUN!!

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Cynthia has been in the music business most of her life. She studied classical piano with concert pianist Doctor Nino Albanese and taught piano lessons in high school. In 1983 her song, JOSE CUERVO (you are a friend of mine) became Billboards country music song of the year. In 1985 she began writing songs for children and started Kids for Kids, a youth choir that performed and raised money for St. Jude's hospital. In 1997 she recorded 11 CDs of ambient piano for PAGE MUSIC in Nashville. 4 Peaceful Journey CDs with original compositions, 3 New Beginnings CDs for new babies and 4 Christmas CDs with flute, violin and cello. Her current project "Pearl" is taking off like wildfire in West Texas. Pearl is a novel/theatrical musical that takes place in the 1920s. The music is sexy, fun and even moving. Cynthia believes we can heal the planet with positive musical energy.
