Album Notes
Daddies Ju Ju came about while James Hinkle and Chad Pope were touring Texas and Louisana and looking for a name for their dou side project . After finding and then losing a couple of cool names due to the fact they were already taken . The boys fell upon Daddies Ju Ju somewhere on I-10 and the name stuck.
A European tour was next and from that three week odyssey came the Belgian Sessions. Facilitated by concert promoter Conrad de Muelenaere the crew which by now included harmonica maestro Eddy de Smul went into Barefoot studios and in the course of nine hours Played their set ,mixed and mastered the tracks. Rule of thumb in the studio was if you can't do it in three takes we 're moving on . Most all the tracks were done in one or two takes using no overdubs. The CD was mixed by James, Chad and Arjan Bogaert the studios owner. Arjan also mastered the project.
Hope you enjoy this recording and keep your eyes open for more from Daddies Ju Ju in Europe and the states.
