Aladdin's Final Voyage

by Dallas Kenny

Soothing melodies and rhythms evoke images of Arabian Nights and Aladdin's wondrous adventures in strange and exotic lands. Each original composition is like an exquisitely painted Persian miniature lovingly coaxed from the keys of a single grand piano.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
These 14 vignettes for piano evoke images of young and romantic hearts exploring colorful, joyful, frightful, and inspiring new worlds. Each short piece depicts a wondrous adventure -- transporting the listener from the depths of the Magic Forest to Under the Emerald Sea, as a Palm Reader recalls the tragedy and hope of Sarajevo and transports us on a flying carpet past towering Spires of Gold. Later, the ever watchful Night River Pilot guides us through to the lair of Dr. Wildworm and into the land of Wood Nymph Waltzes and Midnight Twirls. Once Upon a Time there was a brightly colored Circus Wheel that carried us along forever through the dreams of our childhood, coming to rest at last in Aladdin's Final Adventure.
