ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Damh's brand new studio CD. The first album of Damh the Bard songs since The Cauldron Born this is an eagerly awaited album. It opens with the title track, a typically rousing anthem in honour of the Pagan Horned God of Nature. From there we go into Under a Beltane Sun, a song so catchy you'd need a vaccine not to sing along. A duet with Eala on the retelling of the tragic tale of Branwen in Branwen's Lament cannot fail to touch the heart. The album finishes with an 8 minute epic retelling of the story of Ceridwen and Taliesin. This album is set to become another classic.

Another fantastic cd from Damh!
If you are looking for good pagan folk music you will love Antlered Crown and Standing Stone. Damh the Bard is exceptional, every song he does is a 5 star. His songs are very well done from the heart, the musical gifts he has are amazing and Cerri Lee's artwork is once again so beautifully done to match the music. What are you waiting for? You NEED to order this cd!!

Damh the Bard just keeps growing as a Bard!!
We have been listening to Damh's music for years, and he just cannot stop writing! Further, he just gets better and better. People wondered if after previous releases (all of them) he could possibly get any better. This album is the answer and it is a resounding YES. Every single tune is perfection in its own right, beginning with the title cut. But "Sons and Daughters" (of Robin Hood) is worthy of our very own Pete Seeger, and should be the new standard bearer for our times. So beautiful is this album, so evocative, taking us further into the Druid's dreams and a new awakening, you'd be a fool not to have it. We haven't stopped playing it since it arrived. THANK YOU, Damh! We love you.
