When it comes to moving the crowd, no one does it better than Dana Divine. In the contemporary gospel arena, and on the dance music charts, Dana Divine proves time and time again that she knows how to write hit songs.
“I've been a songwriter ever since I could talk. Almost everything I see, and every thought that I have is a song. I find songs everywhere. I knew that writing songs was my call since I was a child. Although I completed my educational obligations and obtained my post graduate degree, I always knew my career path would be the entertainment industry.”

Divine’s hits span the globe and time. Starting her career as a dance/house artist, she has over 30 recordings on the market. Her collaborations are extensive, working with dance music’s top remixers, DJ’s and producers: Grammy winners Will Smith, R. Kelly, Maurice Joshua, and Hula; World renowned DJ’s Cajmere, Roger Sanchez, Angel Moraes, Terry Hunter, and Tony Moran; U.K. producer, Sonique; And Stellar Award winning artists, Papa San, and DeWayne Woods. Divine is the artist/songwriter of numerous Billboard charting songs. Her first commercially available recording, For You (Clubhouse Records), broke Billboards Debut Hotshot immediately, and her career has been a string of chart topping hits ever since. The Gospel Slide, an innovative Christian line dance created by Dana Divine not only charted Billboard on the Hot 100 Chart, but also broke the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop single sales chart. The Gospel Slide was nominated for a Chicago Music Award, and continues record breaking sales for Divines label Tri-M Entertainment. Divine’s 1999 underground hit song “Brighter Days” continues its reign as a bonafide house music classic, (Cajual Records). In 2001 Divine teamed up with Mark Pichiotti and created another Billboard charting dance song, “Runnin”. The song was licensed to Sony Playstation 2 and was the theme song for a television production in England called “That Gay Show”. “Runnin” was an ultra popular Nokia ringtone and still enjoys great club play around the World. Today, Divine is enjoying industry success with her latest single “Turn it Up” ( Basstoy presents Mark Pichiotti featuring Dana Divine, Blue Plate Records). The song accomplished a feat seldom achieved by an independent artist on an independent label. After the record climbed its way to the number one position on Music Week Charts overseas, the song then turned around and hit #1 on Billboards Dance/Club Play Chart in the States . Dana Divines thoughtful lyrics, coupled with the best production talent in the business creates a winning combination every time.
Fresh from the success of last summers #1 Billboard smash “Turn it Up”, Dana Divine is releasing her sophomore independent project “Lifeline” (Tri-M Entertainment). Inspired to create music that will transform the minds and lives of youth, Divine bridges the gap in her music with her own style of gospel house, and R&P (Rhythm& Praise). She’s been stomping and sliding on morning shows, music awards, concert stages, and festivals, opening for Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, Darryl Coley, Father Charles G. Hayes, even Judy Mowatt. Now, on Sunday mornings, Divine holds a captive audience in Chicago and Worldwide as the radio host for the Music of Love and Inspiration, on Clear Channels 107.5, WGCI.
