ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Dan Dowling is a jazz guitarist living in Albuquerque, NM. For this recording he is joined by Pat Rhoads/grand piano, John Griffin/upright bass, and Andy Poling/drums. These musicians have been performing together over a span of many years and it shows in the ease and spontaneity of their ensemble interplay. Six of the tunes are originals penned by Dan and the remaining three are standards which Dan arranged for this quartet.
Thanks to Dale Unger at American Archtop, Mark Baier at Victoria Amplifier Co., Rick Heintzlman at Alpa Omega, Kevin Bender at Grumpy's Guitars, Ron Sanchez at Albuquerque Tone Lab, Joe Warner, Rick Hale at Rick Hale Studio, and Maud Beenhouwer and Rudolfo Gaonzales at Casa Blanca Productions.
Special thanks to Pat, John, and Andy for their outstanding performances and to Ruby, Dashiel, and my wife Martha for their love and support.
