ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The newest release from Dangerous Planet has 10 songs that will take you from one end of the genre scale to the other! A bit of a departure for Redeye, the use of calypso-style guitar, well-placed twang and good old rock-n-roll will keep your feet tapping. And get this - each CD is autographed by Redeye Carl himself! Get yours today, and while you're at it, pick up their debut EP "HOME FROM SHIPWRECK ISLAND" (West Bay Records). While this is a homegrown project, CDR released and slim-lined, it shows off the diverse talent of Carl DeCuir (Redeye Carl). Carl's guitar work is exceptional, taking influence from the likes of Dire Straits. Additionally, some of the polished blues influenced licks are outstanding, even when wrapped in a full rock context. I find it to be a refreshing blend of genres rarely tried, and Carl's Pirates do it well. Other talented players include Ray Bell, Tim McCrary, Bobby Fikes, J.C. Chamberlain, Angelo, Keith, Bruzzell, and Armando. This is a great disc for the fans as it give you a way to bridge the gap between live performances. Get them both today!
