ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Philly native, Daniela Romeo is a multi-faceted singer/songwriter. Influenced by various genres such as rock, hip-hop, drum and bass, trip-hop, and soul, the daughter of Italian immigrants was also raised on a variety of music from her parents' homeland. The music that she has made to date is a representation of many of those influences.

The singer began taking vocal lessons at 12 and writing songs at 13. At 16, she began formal training at Settlement Music School, where she studied Opera for 6 years. In recent years, Daniela has appeared on various releases while laying the groundwork for her own debut solo project.

While she writes and records in English, she incorporates Italian into her writing, which can be heard on tracks such as "Running to Nowhere". Daniela hopes to expand her body of work by incorporating elements of the music that have shaped her artistically while doing so in both languages.
