Album Notes
This mini album contains five folk & blues songs from the early 1900's, played in a raw Mississippi hill country style with a dirty 50's Memphis sound. It was recorded at Sun Studio in Memphis. Leadbelly made these songs famous and were the first to record many of them.

Through dedication and years of relentless touring, Daniel Eriksen has built a reputation as a great slideguitarplayer. His blend of dirty Mississippi deltablues and New Orleans rhythms, has brought him many fans around the world.
Eriksen has shared the stage with artists such as Lazy Lester, James Harman, John Mooney, Rick Danko (The Band), Eden Brent, Linda Gail Lewis (Jerry Lee's sister), Phil Guy (Buddy's brother), Grayson Capps, Curtis Eller, Fiona Boyes, Bill Abel, Mickey Rogers, Vidar Busk, Stephen Ackles, Reidar Larsen, Rita Engedalen, Jimmy "Duck" Holmes, Bill "Howl-n-Madd" Perry and many others.
He has opened shows for B.B. King, John Mayall, Omar & The Howlers, Eric Sardinas, Robert Plant, The Yardbirds and Roy Rogers.
In 2006 he released his debut CD «Ya Ya», which recieved great reviews from critics and fans alike. In 2010 Eriksen released his second album , «Muddy Days», also to rave reviews.
Stig Sjøstrøm is a rhythm master and his hard-driving elegant playing fits Daniel's music perfectly. He is an educated jazz drummer and is often used on recordings and live shows.
Together they are a drum/guitar duo that is using the full range of their instruments and creating a fullbodied sound that has amazed audiences wherever they have played. Dirty delta blues mixed with New Orleans steaming rhythms.
