This mini album contains five folk & blues songs from the early 1900's, played in a raw Mississippi hill country style with a dirty 50's Memphis sound. It was recorded at Sun Studio in Memphis. Leadbelly made these songs famous and were the first to record many of them.

He has opened shows for B.B. King, John Mayall, Omar & The Howlers, Eric Sardinas, Robert Plant, The Yardbirds and Roy Rogers.
In 2006 he released his debut CD «Ya Ya», which recieved great reviews from critics and fans alike.In 2010 Eriksen released his second album , «Muddy Days», also to rave reviews.
Stig Sjøstrøm is a rhythm master and his hard-driving elegant playing fits Daniel's music perfectly. He is an educated jazz drummer and is often used on recordings and live shows.
Together they are a drum/guitar duo that is using the full range of their instruments and creating a fullbodied sound that has amazed audiences wherever they have played. Dirty delta blues mixed with New Orleans steaming rhythms.
