Album Notes
Daniel Joiner is a professional musician in the Tampa Bay area. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Piano Performance from Stetson University and has recently earned a Master’s Degree in Jazz Studies from USF. His musical style has been influenced by pianists and composers from many different musical genres including Jazz, Latin, Blues, Boogie Woogie, New Orleans, Classical, Pop, Gospel, and Bossa Nova. Some of his most significant influences include Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans, Chick Corea, Michel Camilo, Herbie Hancock, Chucho Valdez, Eliane Elias, Frederick Chopin, Dr. John, Bill Wolaver, Teresa Wilhelmi, and Mark Hayes. His goal is to connect with listeners through a God-given passion for music and the inherent power with which it can communicate.
