ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Daniel Mckell happens to be some random fellow who plays and writes songs that are capable of sprouting carrots and beans in any soil. This aging farm kid has, however not found any work performing such miracles. Instead, it's more likely that he would be helping you choose just the right twang of blue for your living room wall at the local mom and pop hardware store. Or perhaps he is spinning tales and revelry for a group of elementary school kids who are more accustomed to TV and drony teachers... Sometimes though you can find him singing at the vegetarian cafe down the street to a fleet of hungry ears. After some time as a performer of original material on the alternate side of the folk music paradigm in the band Lake of Stew, this jack of many trades has released a well-sculpted collection of his own songs for the ears and hearts of the eager.
Whether you are driving up a logging road heading off to plant trees, or living your days as a dweller atop the skyline of a heaping metropolis, the music you are reading about is crafted to touch into the place that very few things in this business of living are capable of doing... “A Symphony of Green Lights” is a healthy blend of secret songs, dreaming anthems, and wake up rock. It’s an eclectic really good seven-course meal complete with appetizers, dessert, and an after dinner sit by a babbling brook.
