Album Notes
This is an original song, titled: The Battling Bastards of Bataan. The Battle of Bataan was one of the first battles of WWII for the United States, and while the poorly-equipped troops defended the Philippines valiantly and delayed the progress of the Japanese for four months, they eventually surrendered and were forced to endure the march across the Bataan peninsula. This song is in honor of the men and women who sacrificed during the Battle of Bataan in the Philippines, the Bataan Death March and the following years in prisoner of war camps. We owe them more than we know...

Song written and performed by Dan Owen with a great deal of help and engineering from Gene Keen, of Keen Music co.
