Album Notes
A solo artist can make a difference, one-to-one, with each musical moment. Breaking through the blahs of everyday routines, casting light on personal and collective consciousness, tweaking ideas with nimble dexterity and harmonious tones assisting in our co-exitence, Dan Peart "really" acheives this with his second CD of tasty originals.

"It's about the songs, writing lyrics I care to sing, and evolving as a musician. I've been playing bass, keyboards, and guitars in several dance bands over the years, even touring coast-to-coast. To return to solo acoustic guitar and harmonicas leaves a little to your imagination. I could perform the songs on this CD in your living room, without electricity, or on stages anywhere." - DP

The first CD, "Truth Be Told", was the result of a Sound Lab 101 class project which turned out to be extremely positive in it's reception and transmission clearly cutting through the static of popular idiocy. The universal human condition was addressed, stamped and delivered by one voice crying out in the wilderness. From the edges of social circles to the inner sanctum experience of coping and dealing with daily relationships, working and playing, the second CD, "really", expands established concepts, smoothing the lumps out of the gravy, serving up lyrical and musical delicacies . Seconds are welcome. Thirds, encouraged. Enjoy.
