ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Some of my fans tell me how much they love just the soft sound of the classical guitar by itself while others have complemented me on how I arrange the music and the types of instruments that I select for the accompaniment. I like to use strings of course but also bass, vibes, bottle whistle, scat vox and on occasion as in this "Suite for Guitar No.1" some sound effects. In the piece "Midnight Mischief" it begins by setting the stage for midnight mischief. A little wind and thunder which I think goes perfectly with the "bump-in-the-night" melody. This piece would be great for "Christmas elves" or "Halloween". Patio Waltz is already a hit with my local friends and they especially love the orchestrated version. Hurry Scurry was written with the everyday rush in mind. The "hurry up and wait" way people spend their time. This is a great classical guitar piece and a challenge to play. Choro Feliz is a more upbeat romantic piece. What does it make you think of? I can be seen playing these four pieces on youtube.com
I hope all can find enjoyment in my music and will continue to do so.
Dan
