ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The characteristic sound of this cd comes from mixing acoustic instruments (usually piano) with multiple layers of synth. Some of the tracks use a single piano piece, while others use looped piano fragments. This produces some very thick and spacey textures. Nighttime listening at high volume is recommended.

Brad Anderson piano: tracks 1-4&6-8
synth: tracks 1-9

Kyle Bowman tenor sax: track 8

Tad Margelli oboe: track 5

Recorded and mixed by Doug Haire at Jack Straw Studios, Seattle,WA

Design by Christine Marie Larson

All tracks written by Brad Anderson

Released June 2009(Independant)

An amazing passionate musical collaboration that will awaken your senses
This CD is a musical adventure to places that will make everyone smile in wonderment. It captures the essence of passion for what we all desire to know more about. If you can open your mind to a new-age piano experience, you will certainly enjoy the talent within this work of art.

When Classical Piano Meets Radical, Universe-Traversing Synth!
The synth is great; the piano is *amazing*. This is a moving work that touches the emotional extremes; at times jarring, at times stirring, at times amusing (in a good way). My favorite is Caldero del Diablo which truly lives up to its name. This CD is true to its tagline which says it is best when "...served loudly in a darkened room."

Coursing through the veins!
This music is amazing! Listening to the music I can feel every note and sound coursing through my veins. The music is performed by truly gifted people and my body thanks you for the gift.

Interesting music, eclectic in a truly wonderful way
I thought the songs were very interesting to listen to, and listen is exactly what you need to do. This is not music to get moving to but to sit and visually try to understand where these sounds are coming from.
