ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
the sonoran desert runs up the continent of north america from mexico. a dry thin finger extends into canada, and is the home to things found nowhere else in the country. amongst the cactus, antelope bush and shaggy daisies can be found wind scorpions, horned lizards, banded rattlesnakes and the darylectones.

the darylectones are a post modern acoustic duo whose music has been described as two jazz guys trying to stuff a blues singer down a well. it falls somewhere between tom waits and ry cooder in a soulful blend of world rhythms and old world sensibilities.

they have performed their original musical melange at festivals in canada and the u.s

So Well Written
Other musicians should listen to this album and take some notes. Incredible song writing. First time I heard "Does it Come in Black" I wondered why no one else has articulated such a simple and crucial point, so well.
