Album Notes
This guitarist and bass player have been on the european festival circuit together in many different incarnations playing with the likes of Duke Heitger, Evan Christopher,Leroy Jones and Lillian Boutte.This is their first offering in a sparse duo setting which showcases the talent and obvious affinity they have with each others playing.Drawing on their playing experiences with some of the great new orleans musicians of today this cd has roots in the rich tradition of new orleans music and the blues while showcasing a lot of guitar and some hip arrangements of old standards.
