His music is still popular world wide!
Dave Stogner was one of the " good guy's "His music will always endure.

Dave Stogner, Decca Records' western band leader, is a veteran of leading
country and western dance bands.
An accomplished musician, Dave plays fiddle, guitar, mandolin, banjo,bass and just about
any other instrument in the band, in addition to most of the vocals.
In the city of Amarillo, in his native state of Texas, Dave started his journey to success by gathering
ever-important experience, playing in local dance bands.
Felling ready to tackle new fields, he invaded the city of San Francisco, the birthplace of his fast-
rising musical aggregation, the Western Rhythmaires" but newer pastures still beckoned, so Dave
moved to Fresno,CALIFORNIA, WHERE THEY CLAIMED HIM AS THEIR
own western star.
Dave kept them dancing every saturday night for eleven years
at the " THE BIG FRESNO BARN"
WITH the birth of television, Dave immediately found himself
sponsored by coca cola Bottling company,
AMOUNG others, and kept his fans happy.

The Western Rhythmaires are composed of Joe Holley, the left handed fiddle player who is well known
throughout the western music field, Jack Ansiel on steel guitar, Leon Carter on Bass, Bruce Pillow on
standard guitar, Pat Marchese on drums. and last but not least Herman Smith on Piano.
