Album Notes
"This multi-talented young man is really a breath of fresh air on the music scene today. He sings with warmth and energy and his interpretation of the lyrics will bring back memories of two other great Italian singers - Frank Sinatra and Perry Como. In addition to his vocal talent, he is also a gifted pianist. So pour yourself a glass of wine, sit back in your favorite easy chair, relax and enjoy David's lovely Christmas Music. I promise it will brighten your holiday season."

Wonderful Crooner/Jazz Christmas Recoring From A Great Singer
After buying and receiving this cd, I have one question, why isn't DAVID GUIDICE famous like HARRY CONNICK JR., MICHAEL BUBLE, and MATT DUSK? Mr. GUIDICE knows how to sing with the best of them (and I really mean that - just check out the sound samples). There is a very strong HARRY CONNICK JR. in his voice and overall style but at the same time, Mr. GUIDICE is his own man.
There's no song that's bad here including his originals (which I believe there are 3 of). It has a most often 'jazz' style to the music and arrangements with the exception of some synch type sounds/strings in a couple of songs.
The opening song, HAPPY HOLIDAYS/THE HOLIDAY SEASON (which is in the form of a medley), is probably my favorite here as it's just so wonderful and jazzy. It captures that crooner/jazz style perfectly and really sounds like something that could have been recording back in the 1950's or 1960's.
SNOWBOUND is another favorite with it's romantic jazz style.
Another standout is Mr. GUIDICE'S original, IT MUST BE SANTA CLAUS, which is so fantastic and is such a fun, song. For sure, the most unique and original song and arrangement on the cd. And again, wonderful jazz.
But all the songs are great and I could probably name them all as standouts.
DAVID GUIDICE is one of the greatest singers if not the greatest in our modern day and if you liek the review thus far, then you will most likely love this cd.
My highest recommendation.

Simply Great!
I simply agree with the other reviewer - how come he's not known! I give it a try with the $5 promo on this album so I can have something to play on Christmas. Spring is almost here and here I am still playing these wonderful tunes. Good music specially if sung by an excellent crooner like David is not seasonal - they're evergreens! A number of the songs are new to me and so I don't usually equate that as X'mas tunes and that's where the ambivalence comes in. Still, it's difficult to fathom that he is not given that proper recognition by the listening public. He's got the voice and a style!
