ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
David "Kawika" Talisman has been a recording artist for many years but only recently has decided to release solo performances. A well known studio singer in the 70's, David sang on many commercials, films & TV, did demos for the Jackson 5 and other artists, as well as put out a group album on MGM entitled "Goodness and Mercy". David's powerful voice echoes some of the best fusion bands of the past, Blood Sweat and Tears, Chicago, Tower of Power. The difference is David's warmth and soulful phrasing more reminiscent of Teddy Prendergass and Luther Vandross. One unique cut on this album is an Hawaiian version of the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein classic, "You'll Never Walk Alone".
