David Kevin Lamb, Organist, is a graduate of the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music where his principal organ teachers were Oswald Ragatz and Marilyn Keiser. Receiving the Doctor of Music degree in Organ and Church Music in 2000, he also completed areas of study in Vocal Performance/Pedagogy, Choral Conducting, and Music Education. While on the IU campus, he was an associate instructor in Choral Conducting where, for two years, he was the Assistant Conductor of the IU Singing Hoosiers and the Associate Conductor of the IU All-Campus Choruses.

With over twenty years experience as a public school music administrator and choral director, Dr. Lamb is currently an adjunct instructor of Voice at Franklin College in Franklin, IN and an adjunct instructor of music at Indiana University/Purdue University in Columbus.

Currently the Director of Music and Organist for the First United Methodist Church in Columbus, Indiana, he was honored to be selected to perform as the Conference Organist in 2003 (and again in 2004) for the South Indiana Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. Former church music leadership positions include churches in Bloomington, Columbus, Jeffersonville, New Albany, and Seymour in Indiana, and in Louisville, KY, where he was the Organist/Choir Director at Central Presbyterian Church from 1987 – 1990. Dr. Lamb has presented guest organ recitals in Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Washington, West Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Concert engagements in Europe have included presentations in Germany, Austria, and, most recently, two recitals in France on the historic Cavaille-Coll Organs at the historic churches of St. Augustin and La Trinite in Paris.

Dr. Lamb's professional experiences include work in the realms of concert organist, choral director, church organist, singer, voice teacher, accompanist, stage musician, pit player, music administrator, public school teacher, college instructor, workshop leader, clinician, and recording artist. As a volunteer on the Jacobs School of Music Alumni Board at Indiana University, David Lamb was the founder and the first president of the Indiana Organists United, an alumni affiliate of the IU Jacobs School of Music Alumni Association. He continues to serve on the IOU Alumni Board in the capacity of Immediate Past President, and he was recently appointed to the post of District Convener for the State of Indiana for the American Guild of Organists.

Master Organist
Kevin Lamb plays an authentic Skinner 1930, quite untouched, and restored with taste. The organ structure is very interesting, similar to old organs of South German: a divided case all around the altar with an echo manual at the top, built into the ceiling.Kevin Lamb masterful performance is perfect for registrations choice and virtuosistic skill. Guilmant final is the most exciting execution i have found ever.
