Album Notes
Second album from DavidR XV. I was going for a nu-jazz, downtempo sound. Most of the tracks are EZ listening. Listen to it on a cloudy day or something.

Dan Kimpel- Music Connection magazine

Evocative patterns of light and darkness.
Like the score to an unwritten movie, this lastest opus from DavidR XV reveals itself through evocative pattens of light and darkness. Beneath its electronic patina shimmer melodic undercurrents of yearning romanticism, painted in deep, shadowed tones from an intriguing and still-evolving artist.

Beats so phat! Diddy would be jealous
This is an excellent cd...

Its as if Jesus himself composed this album. Sheer brilliance!
I could listen to this album over and over and over again and i would never get tired of it. It soothes the soul and its one of DavidR's finest works of art yet. This man does it all. Hes an artists, webmaster, musician. Hes a walking God!

If dreams had a sound, It would be Le Funeral Lounge
Le Funeral Lounge is one of the best DavidR cds, and the only one out on the market. So why pass up the oppitunity to listen to his work! The blend of Jazz and beats, is almost mind numbing. I can only say one thing about this cd.....OFF THE HOOK!

It's a dope record,
I really enjoy this CD. It's very relaxing, and soothing. It's nothing like anything else I've heard. It's different, and amazing. It really calms me down on those angry PMSive days. I love it.

Ambient, dark, super fly jungle
I can't help but think Jungle when I hear this album and I love jungle. It is amazing. In truth, I'm at a loss of words, the music has taken me; body, mind, and soul.

The perfect compliment to any electronic music collection.
DavidR-XV seemingly comes from nowhere with the album Le Funeral Lounge, the second release by the obscure prodigy known only as DavidR; recording, mixing, and mastering this wonderful work of technoid IDM and meeting standards well beyond what I’d expect from a self-released artist. From the very beginning there is an uncanny sense of familiarity and comfort. Drifting ambient textures, grooving beats and an overall grasp of what makes a song enjoyable—Le Funeral Lounge sounds and feels like a long lost album that I’ve always loved but never heard...
