ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This is my second solo CD and one that I thank the Lord for allowing me to have produced. Along with The Lord, Tim & Danny Carter, Tim Lorsch, Ross Sermons,
Jaret Carter, Alan Parker, Len Berrier, Mark Vernon, Norman Allred & my late son,
Joey Tucker, I was able to make the CD I always wanted to make. It was recorded
at Treehouse Studio in Ridgetop,Tennessee. This recording was also co-produced,
mixed & mastered by the Grammy Award winning Tim Carter of the Carter Brothers.

I have been playing music for about 40 years and writing for over 25. My writing comes from the heart and life experiences of myself and others. If it didn't happen to me it happened to someone I know and they told me and I wrote about the experience. The songs on this CD are songs of lust, love, lost love, cheating, lovable rednecks, cell phone abuse, my take on a woman's perogative, mans best friend, his dog and the last
song written by my late son about his stolen wagon.

Americana? I guess this is best summation of this CD, incorperating Bluegrass, Folk, Country Blues & Jazz into a nice flowing forty-five minutes of enjoyable listening pleasure. I thank you for your interest and hope you like what you hear from this
Labor Of Love I call,"Middle Of The Road".

THE TRUTH???
All five stars go towards Little Red Wagon, written by Joey Tucker. Other than this, the music makes my ears bleed. Or maybe it's just Davis T's vocal.

top shelf, down-home original talent
these songs are great! they tell stories that are true to life experiences, and are presented by a very talented group of real people who love what they do and the people they do it for

Some great stuff here. Writing is from the heart, the mind and most of all the life. Life always gives you something good it's up to you to pounce on it or not. This would be one of those times to pounce. Davis works hard and plays hard. Timmy Carter did a great job helping DT out. Good people the both of ya. Pick up this disc. You’ll enjoy it every time you spin it and the more you listen the more you’ll hear.

I don't believe there could be a better cd out today, or ever. This cd true to its roots and the people behind the music deserve the world. I love you Mr. Tucker.

Great music-words I can understand & relate to
Middle of the Road Redneck, that's me! The entire CD is great! Words I can understand and songs written about stuff I can relate to. Get off that cell phone & drive is really catchy.

My review is very positive!!!!
I am from NC and caught Davis Tucker at a great little musicians bar called "The Red Lion" in High Point . All the guys in the band are talented, fresh and entertaining. It was a very fun night for all at the club (and it was packed). I bought the CD "MIddle of the Road" and was just as impressed with the studio job as I was with the live performance. Just a great bunch of musicians with great , entertaining original tunes. I suggest it to anyone who appreciates "real" music.
