ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
ALBUM INFO:
SEE THE WORLD FROM HERE is the brilliant new album from DAYBREAKER and was released worldwide for download from iTunes in September, 2008. A physical release followed in October, 2008. A giant leap in thought and texture from his previous releases, the new LP plays like a road-trip through love and life under 21st century skies. The sound is organic, tuneful and flowing. An underground classic of rustic pocket symphonies ... welcome to our world.

ALBUM CREDITS:
All songs by Chris Howard except 'Today" written by Chris Howard and Bryan Benner and 'Sunset Red' by Chris Howard and Mark Sotelo.
Tracy Kosmecki played violin, Mark Sotelo played some keys, bass and put down some beats. Everything else by Chris Howard.
Produced by Chris Howard with some help from Mark Sotelo on 'Sunset Red'.
Mastered by Erik Veach at CDM.
Artwork by Eric Fowles at Voltage A+D.
Photography by Allison Benner.

ARTIST BIO:
DAYBREAKER is Chris Howard dreaming of baggy beats and swirly tunes and songs like nothing you ever heard but everything you ever liked. Combining the British sounds and rain-soaked streets of his childhood with the acoustics and sunshine of the American west, Chris creates pop-driven psychedelic symphonies that free your mind and make you groove.

Chris has been played by the good folks at XFM and has enjoyed some underground word-of-mouth success with two LPs, COMES TO US ALL and AS IF BY MAGIC, as well as an EP of raw tuneful carnage, BACK OUT WEST. His fourth release, SEE THE WORLD FROM HERE was released in the autumn of 2008.

king monkey

blissed out british pop
lovely stuff - great sound and eclectic group of songs that flow great with one another. the LP takes me on a journey and is packed full of melodies and ideas and weird little instruments alongside some of the more "classic" arrangements. a quantum leap from his previous work ... highly recommended!

maversFan

catchy and fun
Uplifting and groovy songs from a good soul singer-songwriter who reminds me of early beta band at times. Very cool lyrics and the artwork is fab! I dig it.

smithster

groovy, baby!
sounds like classic sixties pop through a modern filter. grooves out and unexpectedly rocks hard on occasion. all about the songs though ... and they're goodies

molly plum
