ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Doug is a worship leader/musician at a small church on the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia, Canada and has been playing music since he was 10 years old. He was on the rock and roll circuit back in the 70's and early 80's until he figured it was time to settle down with the girl of his dreams, Cathy. Since 1980 he has successfully built and operated 3 studios and has been involved with the recording and engineering of numerous projects including jingles, soundtracks, demos and albums for various artists including Suspect, Crystal Vision, Michelle Bruce, Heather Beckmeyer and The Coast String Fiddlers.

He owns and uses the following instruments and gear, live and in the studio. Roland gear includes the RD-6, TD-8 Digital Drums, FX unit, EQ, JV-1080, XP-60, VS-1680 and a full size Roland PA System. He also uses Rogue and Odyssey Bass Guitars, a Yamaki Acoustic Guitar, Behringer MX3224 Mixing board and miscellaneous other pieces.

In 1990, after much searching for truth and meaning, he asked Jesus into his heart, accepted Him as his Saviour and gave his life over to Him. Since then he has dedicated his writing and singing to His glory and loves to spend his time with good friends, singing, praising and worshiping Him!

This album is a second compilation of songs that he has written that tell of God's boundless love and why we need Him so. There are also songs of praise and worship that lift His name and stir us all to exalt Him! For The Love of God is immeasurable!

Great lyrics and creative production
With his latest CD 'For The Love of God' Douglas Campbell was really letting his love and worship for God come out through his songs. The cd features a great variety of styles, sounds, and themes, but really it is all For The Love of God. If you like contemporary or worship music be sure to check this out.
