ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"D.C. Anderson possesses a subtle and supple voice that envelopes a song and caresses each lyric with an understated honesty that is both touching and refreshing."
Jonathan Frank - Talking Broadway.com
"There is a powerful dynamic at work here - as funny as he can be (singing 'Human Fondue' - the effects of a night of chocolate smeared lovemaking, or 'Chocolate is Fine' - giving us all the excuse we need to indulge our obsession with the stuff), he can surprise you with a serious, heartbreaking BALLAD...a unique artist.
Barbara and Scott Siegel - Theatermania.com
"Anderson sings with storytelling mastery!"
Don Heckman - Los Angeles Times
"Anderson's voice is rooted in the folk/pop style with a soothing quality...it's on the ballads that he really shines!"
David Hurst - Showbusiness Weekly

Great CD......funny and entertaining
DC has done it again. This CD has touching songs and song to make you laugh out loud. A fine lyricist with style and a humor all his own, no one can perform his work better than he can himself. This is a CD worth owning.

D.C. Anderson's newest release is addictive
I bought this record and liked it enough the first couple listens and then, on the third listen, everything clicked. I am absolutely sincere when I say that I did not take this cd out of my cd player for 3 weeks. It's all I listened to and all I looked forward to listening to. He wrote all the songs, each of which seem to burst out of him. He has become an extraordinary songwriter and has never sounded better. I've purchased 6 copies of this record (CD BABY can verify!) because when I play it for friends they always want to know who it is. So, put on your headphones and drift off with D.C., it will be a blissful experience.

WHAT A GREAT PERFORMER
I've only recently discovered D.C. and am amassing my collection of his CDs because he's truly an awesome performer - sensitive, funny, smart...really great to listen to.

Enjoyable Music and Singing. but....
I already own three cds by DC Anderson. I really enjoyed his wide ranging material and his wonderful voice. I am glad he recorded a new album of songs with his own lyrics. He is a talent writer as he is singer.

I find no fault in this recording. So you may wonder why the 3 stars? The packaging really irks me. I almost threw it a way as it almost got lost in the the packaging. It is a simple carboard sleve instead of a jewel box. Even a slim CD holder would have been preferable. I don't know whose decision it was to release it this way, but I have a feeling that it won't be played as much as DC's other cds as I fear it will get lost in the shelf with all the other CDs.
