ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The 5th epic album from “The Doomsday Device”, the solo project from Craig Snape, former singer/songwriter of “Genaro” from Edinburgh based Benbecula Records. “A Place I Have Known For Millions Of Years” is a move back to its predecessor “The Great Outdoors” in many respects. With a very warm otherworldy atmosphere delivering classic melodies such as “We’ve Lost Control” reminiscent of “The Beach Boys”, the powerful “Breathe In Breathe Out”, a song from another realm with touches of “Radiohead” remarking on the endless chattering of the human mind, the instant classics “Sunday In The Sun” and “Too Little Too Late” laced with vibrant melancholy tones, and not forgetting the gliding interdimensional melodies of the haunting masterpiece “A Four Dimensional Box”. Arguably the most beautiful, heartfelt album from “The Doomsday Device”. Another truly epic album from one of the best songwriters of his generation.
