Album Notes
Idaho musicians, Dean Leavitt and Daniel Mihlfeith, have collaborated on many projects for years. This song was inspired when Leavitt's sister in law told him that a close family friend was unable to reach his family in the wake of the Japan earthquake and tsunami in 2011. She encouraged the family to pray for a good outcome. Leavitt, having seen the devastation the disaster had created had the thought, " Those poor people don't have a prayer!" and the hook line "I will pray for you when you don't have a prayer." was born. This song encourages us to keep hope alive in times of crisis, pray for those in need, and get involved to make a difference where we can. This song is dedicated to our dear friend Shinichi. We are thankful that you and your family are safe. May the lord coninue to bless you, your country, and all people who are going through difficult times. Song written by Dean Leavitt and Daniel Mihlfeith. Vocals by Daniel Mihlfeith. Recorded and produced by Daniel Mihlfeith.
