Imposing Elements

by Dean Watson

This is the second CD I have produced inspired by the artwork of Ron Eady. His encaustic artwork - in particular, his painting "Imposing Elements" graces the cover, and is also the name of the CD. I hope you like this progressive rock fusion music!

Album Notes
Back in 2010 while visiting Ron Eady ( a local artist in my area ) I was inspired by the overall dark, mysterious feelings I got from his artwork. Through some discussion we decided to collaborate on a project - "Unsettled". This CD had its musical inspiration from Ron's painting of the same name. The end product was received with high praise by the progressive music community, landing #69 out of the top 100 progressive CD's from 2010 as voted by Progressive Archives.

We decided to do it again!

2012 - a new, fresh, work, "Imposing Elements" is now available. This CD is overall better sounding in every way. A year in the making, I hope you enjoy this new work! This is the second in a series we both hope to continue!
