Album Notes
I took piano lessons for 12 years, starting at age 6. Mom would always say "either practice the piano or do these dishes!" (I still don't do dishes!). I grew up singing in the choir of our little country church, and that's where I learned to harmonize on the hymns. My song-writing spans a number of years: some of these are really old, and I first played them on my old guitar. I recently opened up my book of songs, chose a few old ones, and dressed up the melodies by switching to the piano. Then I started writing the new ones. Each song has a story of its own to tell. Some of the reviews go like this: "You sing what we feel." (Cheryl), "You are singing my life!" (Judy), "I see you in a long red dress, white gloves, draped over a piano, entertaining us" (Jeff), "Wow! Where have you been?" (Lorenzo). The best way for you to enjoy the music is this: pour yourself a glass of red, put on the headphones, lean back, and Listen To Your Girlfriend Sing!" Thanks so much for listening!
