Album Notes
This album is culled from the vault of sessions featuring the late great guitarist David Hartley. There are two primary themes that run throughout it. The first track 'Morning Glory' literally picks up where the last track from Atmospheres + Atomsquares left off. Being pulled from that same session. It sets an ethereal theme which pops back up again in the tracks 'Hidden Treasure' and 'Night Visions'.

The title track is a gentle clockwork groove driven by Hitz's subtle piano theme and Conway's flute solos. Variations of this second theme resurface in 'Timing Unwinding' and 'The Last Thread'. 'Timing Unwinding' is a variation on the Threads of Time theme that brings in the signature vibe work of Cooper that has become a cornerstone of the DTM sound. 'The Last Thread' takes the theme to more adventurous and frenetic territory, Cooper's marimba and Hitz's piano pulse beneath Conway's trumpet lines working things up into an angular frenzy then settling back down into a smooth groove fadeout.

'Dirty Diamonds' picks up the pulse and darkens the hue a bit. Showcasing Hartleys guitar playing which appears here under the guise of a horn synth which creates some fantastic interplay between him and Conway's trumpet runs. 'Think It to Create It' is a mid tempo Conway trumpet centerpiece with some strut and bounce on which Hitz and Hartley are absent, which creates a little more space for the trumpet to be in the spotlight. This track melds into 'Pathways' which is another great showcase of Hartley's guitar virtuosity that has a bit of a King Crimson feel to it. Hornsby's bass and Cooper's percussion work provide a steady stretched canvas beneath the skillful melodic brushes of Hartley, Conway & Hitz,
