ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This album introduces Roy Bell into the mix featuring some guitar work on a couple tracks and mostly keyboard work throughout the album. This album differs from previous DTM releases not only in the introduction of Bells playing but in the curious absence of Conway's trumpet and flute which has been a lynchpin of the DTM sound as well as an absence of guitar on most tracks. Fear not Conway, Hartley & Hagegeorge fans, more work with them is in the vault and being queued up for release. This album was pulled from a single recording session that only Bell, Robert Hitz, Barry Cooper and John Hornsby participated in. The resulting tracks from that session were too good not to put out and show a different side of this musical collective.

The interplay between Hitz and Bell adds a new dimension to the DTM sound that is spacious, reflective and meditative. Tracks range from ethereal and organic, to bluesy and free range jazzical.
